FLAVORS OF VIBRANT TRADITIONS

Honest. Sincere. Local. Delicious.

Welcome to Castel di Luco, where flavors preserve the soul of the traditions from which they derive from and carry them authentically into the present.

The heart of the traditional flavors of Castel di Luco

Our cuisine draws from local produce and perpetuates tradition such as cornmeal polenta stuffed with vegetables, porcini mushrooms and lamb with truffles – by skillfully combining rural and mountain traditions with fresh, wholesome ingredients. Meat dishes, fresh homemade pasta, and cheeses are among the stars of our local gastronomy.

A Symphony of Aromas and Traditions

In the spaces of this Historic Mansion of rare beauty, each dish tells a story passed down from generation to generation. The flavors of our cuisine draw on the bounty of local ingredients and the mastery of ancient recipes – with ingredients, simple and wild as herbs and prized as the truffles and mushrooms typical of our regions.

Our specialties are inextricably linked to the ancient Via Salaria, which runs alongside the castle. Along this important trade route, traders have enriched each other's knowledge of flavors since ancient times. On a journey through the borderland of Marche, Abruzzo, Umbria and Lazio.
